I am still in a state of shock and confusion, but at least I am safe and sound.
Thank you for all your messages.
I will write more when all is calm and settled, but for now I am at a loss for words.

Sis,take care over there…so worry about your safety in Japan but great to know that you are safe now.I’ll pray for you….god bless you =/..(hug)
glad that you are fine. I guess all are at shock. I know you are almost coming back, your mum must be worried sick..do update her more often!
After all these, the news are settling down too, its been more about countries getting their people out of Japan. One french student studying there, I quote, “Le Japon est devenu mon pays. Le quitter était comme abandonner quelqu’un.” Just like a Singaporean who was featured in Sunday papers saying that if we all leave, then how is the japanese going to trust us.
There really isnt a right or wrong, but I so admire them and am touched with their words. I think you are feeling at loss right now too…
bon courage! c’est un moment tres difficile mais je crois que les gens peuvent le surmonter ensemble!
You, my friend, will go down in history as the brainiest host/actress Mediacorp will ever employ, IF you go back to your previous employer after completing all your studies. But of course, you are smarter than that.
So here’s wishing you in advance, a bright future as a LAWYER. You go girl, I know you can do it.
Your story will one day become a legend, heard echoing along the long corridors of Mediacorp, and recounted with much awe and admiration by the many entertainment newbies who will come after you – of how a once nondescript-looking actress at Mediacorp went out to grab life by the lapels and shook the most out of it.
Ganbatte Kudasai!
Come back girl. Come back to Singapore. We all pray for your safety.
Glad you have completed your study and also hear good news from you that you are going for double degree. That great, this will be the future trend for the next generation. Furthermore, do not worry, a guardian angel is always there somewhere…

Hi Sharon Au,
I just found out today that you had returned to Singapore for good. Times really flies and when i first met you was with Teresa Chew & his son in Tokyo. At that time I remembered you only started to study japanese language and was struggling to understand Japanese communicates. Right you have already graduated and back to Singapore. I hardly watched celebritiy video on internet but somehow because I just happened to know and I click onto the video clip to view your interview.
Your video clip interviews was excellent as you spoke the truth and i noticed your speech is very mature.
You & me both had experinece the recent tsunami, earthquake & nuclear radiation disaster here in Japan. It is the most worst experiences i had ever encountered in my life. Viewing at TV daily you see the tsunami simply just swept away people house, beloved ones, properties, etc and had caused many people have no shelter but to move out to other city for foods, water, electricity, etc…
Through this experiences i have learnt that we should appreciate and treasure what we have around us now.
May I take this opportunity to wish you all the best for next step up career.
Do drop an email if you are coming back to Tokyo. I’m still hanging around here.
Best regards,
TAN@TOKYO
